CSI
My first module class in fourth year was a CSI class with Ms Alymer. I found this class very interesting as it studied many topics that I had never covered or touched on before. Throughout the 6 weeks I learnt about how helpful fingerprints are at a crime scene, I learnt how to dust and check for fingerprints and even took my own fingerprint. Despite this class being fascinating throughout the 6 weeks it was a bonus that we got to watch two episodes of CSI Miami for the final two classes. I really enjoyed this module and would recommend it to everyone.
Political Society
My teacher for Political Society was Mr Roche. In this class we learnt about the society of the United States of America during the 1940s,1950s and 1960s. We learnt about how Rock and Roll effected society and also how racism shaped this period in American History.
R.S.E
I enjoyed the module of CSI because I believe it gave me valuable information for life. Ms Hillman was my teacher for this class. I learnt about a number of STIs and about the cures for these diseases. I found the class interesting and enjoyable. At the end of the module I had to do a project on AIDS.
Mindfullness
One Module I took part in was Mindfulness with Ms Buckley. I found this Module to be quite interesting as we learnt and focused on breathing techniques such and th 4-7-8 exercise and the types of stress people deal with today and also how to cope with them. Overall I found this Module of great benefit as it was something different I had never previously experienced.
Nutrition
This year I participated in the Module of Nutrition. I knew I would enjoy this Module as it is a topic that I'm quite interested in and am knowledgeable about due to my Diabetes. Throughout the module we learnt about many different types of diets and the nutrition we receive from the foods we eat. Doping and how it affects sporting performance were also a topic in this course. I found the Module overall quite enjoyable.
IT
My teacher for the Module of IT was Mr.Stanley. I found this Module of great use at it provided us with time and a quiet place to keep our blogs and E-Learning course up to date.
Careers
I enjoyed the Module of Careers with Ms.Maguire this term. It allowed my to spend some time to focus on what profession I would be interested in and to even look into certain college courses that I had been unaware of before. I feel this Module was even more useful as we had trips to DIT and DUC during this term.
